FRESH AIR EXCHANGER

Fresh air exchange is important because it improves respiratory health and minimizes health risks such as lung disease, asthma and allergens.  It does this by evacuating stale air and moisture and bringing fresh air from the outside. It helps regulate temperature and humidity levels, removes pollutants, controls odors and prevents the buildup of excess moisture.

ERV/HRV Systems

HRV and ERVs are similar in that they both facilitate the transfer of fresh air into the home and exhaust stale air outside the home while recovering energy from the exhausted air.  The main difference of the two is that an HRV transfers heat while an ERV is ore suited for warmer climates that require more cooling than heating.
